We are trying to add a BOONEX social networking script into our amember system and protect it so that only members will have access.

We have a folder /members which is protected by amember and has all of our secure content. We then tried protecting a folder /community which has our BOONEX social networking script installed within it.

Amember would not protect that folder for some reason.

We then tried loading the BOONEX script directly into the already secured /members folder so we ended up with /members/community and amember would still not protect the /community folder.

    Any ideas?

    sounds like either:

    a) Boonex has an existing .htaccess file that you need to either rename or modify (with aMember protection specifics)

    -or-

    b) aMember does have not permissions to write to the Boonex directory
