Recurring Billing Disallows The PayPal Option At 2Checkout

    Most of my clients prefer using Paypal, I cannot have a Paypal account as PP does not support South Africa.

    A way around this was to use 2CO which offers clients a facility to use their PayPal accounts as payment options if they preferred. Woo Hoo - my sales increased as I had paypal.

    BUT......

    I have set up my recurring products and ran a test purchase and when I was taken to the 2CO site, the PayPal option was not available at all!! You could only pay via your credit card!!

    I created a test product - BUT NOT RECURRING - and did a test purchase, now the PayPal option became available.

    Is there anyway around this. The point of a membership site is to implement recurring sales, but recurring sales exclude PayPal as a payment option. That just sucks!!

    Are there any solutions that anyone knows about how I can get around this problem?

    You'd better ask 2CO staff about - it happens in their system and they will answer you exaclty about their policy with PayPal.

    2Co staff will say you need to disable re-occurring billing on your shopping cart end. Funny thing is, I have.

    The plugin is named: 2Checkout Rec. Does Rec stand for reoccuring?

    I have the same question, and really will be much appreciated. If i get better answer against this problem.
