    Hello,

We are working with aMember and Paypal.

The sales tax of 7.6% is added by aMember to the sales price - that's OK (we have activated all the necessary options in aMember).

However, Paypal does not display the sales tax separately, only the final amount.

I would like the client to see the amount without tax, a line representing the tax (7.6%)and then the Total to be invoiced.

I have activated regional tax also in Paypal, under Preferences.

How do I solve this? Thanks for your advice. Doris Edwards

Have you received any info on this? Since I am also trying to understand how to handle tax, I'd appreciate info.

What I understand is that the PayPal subscription service can only receive 1 order total value, and it doesn't let any other pertinent tax data come with the order. Thus, it can't work backwards to calculate the tax breakdown involved in the total.

Amember is triggering tax calculation based on user's profile country and province. Possibly if you send these fields with subscription transaction then PayPal could do the reverse tax calculation if it had the same rules at its end)?!?
